Closely related to flounder and the largest of New Zealand’s flatfish,Turbot is caught in the shallow coastlines around New Zealand, primarily the South Island.
Flesh is succulent & delicate, apricot in colour and turn white after cooking.
A great fish cooked whole on the bone, and fillets deep fried or baked.
We have a great haul in stock with fish ranging from the 2-2.8kg size.
Can easily feed a family of four.
A great centre piece for the dinner table.
